Sports occupies a vital role in pour lives. It keeps us fit, healthy and makes us active apart from keeping a healthy body in mind, sports also help us in alerting our senses, keeps us aware and undaunting personality and outlook on life.Sports helps a person to develop a healthy body to lead a healthy life, a healthy body is necessary. A healthy body helps you defend yourselves against people who want to harm you physically.
Above all, Sports improves the thinking ability of individuals, sports certainly sharpen the mind. Finally, Sports reduces the stress of mind. A sport playing person would certainly experience less depression, it also ensures peace of mind of those playing it. Most Importantly, Sports brings happiness and joy in life of individuals.
HISTORY OF DEPARTMENT OF PHYSICAL EDUCATION & SPORTS:
It was established in the year 1947, since 1947 college has made a great achievement in the field of sports. It has produced Number of University Blues, National & International Level Players. College is having a separate building ‘GOLDEN JUBILEE HALL’ for sports activities.
College gymkhana is having and provides the following sports facilities to the students:
