K.L.E Society’s J G College of Commerce was established in the year 1947. Since then, the college has made great strides in meeting specific needs of both students and stakeholders. The college is affiliated to Karnatak University, Dharwad. The College has been recognized Nationally in the form of Accreditation with ‘A++’ Grade by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC), India with 3.53 CGPA, in the year 2023.

The Post Graduate Department of Studies in Commerce was established in 2007. Over the years more than 500 students have been serving the society by occupying prominent positions in various fields.

The College believes in nurturing and developing professional competencies in students through quality education, research and continuous innovation.

It grooms the students with an aim to make them industry ready professionals with hands on knowledge in their selected field of specialization to effectively contribute to society with commitment and integrity.

 The KLE Society, Belagavi has been delivering quality educational programmes of global standards ever since it was founded by seven dedicated teachers popularly known as ‘Saptarishis’ and three benevolent founders in the year 1961.

The KLE success story of ten decades speaks volumes of the dedication and commitment of thousands of people “Transforming Lives through Education”. A hub of more than 310 institutions that offers and disseminates the knowledge in all spheres of education, for overall development of students. It promotes and encourages the student community to opt for programmes like: Medicine, Dentistry, Pharmacy, Nursing, Agriculture, Law, Business Management, Hotel Management, Engineering and Technology, Basic sciences, Arts, Commerce and Education. In pursuit of higher excellence in the fields of Health and Technology, the society has established KLE Health University and KLE Technological University at Belagavi and Hubballi, respectively. These universities have collaborations with Universities in US, UK and Malaysia and have added new dimensions to the society making it on par with reputed educational institutes worldwide. More than 1,48,000+ students and 18000 dedicated faculties have contributed in making the society an International Educational destination. Recently society has celebrated Centenary celebration to mark its 100 years of selfless services in the field of education.
