A Road Safety Awareness Seminar was organized by Youth Red Cross Unit of K.L.E Society’s J G College of Commerce, Hubballi , in association with Regional Transport Office, Dharwad (East) Division and 99 Cannons Motorcycle Club on 25-02-2021. The resource person Shri Appayya Nalvatwadmath, RTO Officer, Dharwad Division spoke on the occasion and emphasized the importance of road safety and the precautions to be taken while riding, driving and also as pedestrians. He elaborated on the punishable offences for violating the traffic rules and mentioned the changes made in the 2019 traffic rules. Another resource person Shri Sanjeev Bhatia, President of 99 Cannons Motor Cycle Club motivated the students about the safe riding benefits. A video depicting the usual mistakes the public make while riding vehicles was useful to the students.
