History of Department of Commerce:

Department of Commerce established in the year 1947 and completed its fruitful existence of 73 years, contributing to the needs of the people of this region.

• Our Department is the oldest and pioneer Commerce Department in North-  Karnataka.
• Initially, Department of Commerce of Karnatak University Dharwad,  was started in our college in the year 1956 and then it was shifted to the main campus of Karnataka University Dharwad.
• Since its inception, the college is continuously getting ranks at the University level examinations.
• Since its inception, the college has produced good number of Chartered Accountants.
• Along with academic achievements, the college is contributing good number of University Blues in sports.
